Where Architecture Unfolds
Designed by BLINK Design, the architecture of Nobu Residences Maldives draws inspiration from both the Japanese art of origami and the natural formation of the Maldivian atolls themselves. Folded rooflines, sculptural pavilions and landscaped grounds create private island worlds that feel deeply connected to the ocean beyond.
Like the islands that have been shaped over time by coral growth, tides and the rhythms of the sea, the architecture is conceived through a language of folding and formation. Surfaces bend, unfold and open towards the landscape, creating spaces that feel both sculpted and organic.
Living spaces flow naturally to terraces, gardens and shoreline, bringing together Japanese craftsmanship and the freedom of island living.

Each Nobu island residence includes a customisable private 80ft yacht designed by world-renowned naval architecture studio Vripack. More than an amenity, it becomes an extension of ownership.
The yacht draws inspiration from folded origami forms, the silhouette of the manta ray and traditional Japanese design. Inside, seamless living spaces open naturally towards the sea.
